HGL - Hydraulic Swing-Beam Shears
The HGL 2606 is the shortest model in Baykal's HGL swing-beam shear line, cutting 6 mm mild steel or 4 mm stainless over 2560 mm. It runs a fixed 1.6 degree rake at up to 24 strokes per minute, with 15 hydraulic hold-downs and a motorized 750 mm backgauge. At about 4.7 t it suits smaller fabrication shops.
