GDM-30
100m High Speed Paper Straw Making Machine
The GDM-30 winds three or four glued paper strips into a tube and cuts it inline with nine pneumatic knives on a servo-synchronised carriage. Five servo motors drive the winding, the carriage and the cutters, and the reel stand splices new paper rolls automatically. Gaoda's own worked example is about 400 straws per minute when making 6 x 197 mm straws at 80 m/min.
