The MetalMaster Xcel is Messer's unitized high-speed cutting machine, carrying up to two 400 A precision plasma torches plus optional fiber laser, oxy-fuel, bevel heads, drilling and marking. It positions at up to 3000 ipm with 0.5 g acceleration and is laser-verified to +/- 0.002 in over an 80 in area. A self-cleaning Slagger table moves slag and small parts out automatically, and the Global ControlPlus has a 24 in touch screen with nesting built in.
