M-Shear
The M-Shear combines servo-electric motors with a hydraulic pump in a hybrid drive, which keeps it quiet and lowers energy use compared with a purely hydraulic shear. The control sets cutting angle and blade clearance automatically, corrects the knife-bar stroke when the angle changes, and allows programmable start and stop positions for shorter cuts. The 430-16 is the heaviest model, cutting 5/8 in mild steel over 169 in.
